RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Business Assessment of University of Sheffield Intellectual Property across the Engineering Materials and Chemical Processing Engineering Departments.

MAIN DUTIES:
On receipt of a Commercial Opportunities Disclosure from the University of Sheffield, work begins within the Commercial Assessment process to engage with the academic(s) to provide a comprehensive project appraisal. Where applicable, this review could lead to either company spin-out or licensing opportunities.

BIO:
Graeme graduated in Material Science from the University of Sheffield in 1981. After an initial career in the RAF serving in Germany and the UK he worked in strategic marketing roles for major multinationals as well as smaller companies. He has launched new businesses in fire protection, security and textiles. He played a crucial role in the development of an AIM listed materials surface engineering company working with the oil and gas, and engineering sectors. Graeme holds an MBA from Bradford University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
