FaraPack Polymers has been developed as a joint venture between the Faraday Packaging Partnership and the Polymer Centre, at the University of Sheffield. It is a unique blend of polymer expertise and world-class, technological know-how, offering industry the resources to solve technical problems and develop innovative materials.

Rapid research into polymer materials

By making available a dedicated laboratory-based resource within the Polymer Centre, FaraPack Polymers will utilise an extensive base of multidisciplinary expertise to deliver rapid solutions to technologically complex problems. For examples:

• Problem Solving/Creative Thinking - new ideas for 'old' problems

• Innovation - applying the latest technologies to create new polymer concepts.

• Materials Research - design and synthesis of novel smart polymers for packaging and other applications.
