Proof of Concept FundAs part of its commitment to Knowledge Transfer, the University of Sheffield has recently been successful in securing resources from the HEIF2 round of funding for a Proof of Concept Fund. Academic staff can apply for small grants to help them assess the commercial potential to exploit their research. The Proof of Concept Fund can be used to fund: - technical feasibility studies, - testing, - prototype development, - market research - production of a business plan - staff costs Applications will be welcome from all academic departments and research centres from 1st November.
